WhatsApp announced on October that it will offer purchases and hosting services within the application itself. Now, the features will be optional for companies, since they use the “Business” version.
Therefore, the entire process that includes the purchase can be performed within WhatsApp. This goes from choosing the product – with details of an order – to reaching the final payment.
In order to make purchases, users need to start a conversation with a commercial account that offers their products that they intend to buy in the app. The company says that “action will help small businesses that have been most affected at this time [of a pandemic].”
It was not revealed when the new feature will be available or whether businessmen will have to pay any fees or commissions for the transactions carried out.
